Confidentiality & NDA

Your designs are your business. Here is exactly how we protect them.

Our standard confidentiality commitment

Every file uploaded to MakeNow is treated as confidential by default — no NDA required:

• Your files are used only to quote and manufacture your order.
• We never publish, showcase or share your parts or files without your written permission.
• Access is limited to the staff and production engineers working on your order.
• Files are transmitted over HTTPS and stored with access controls, and are deleted on request.
• We never use your designs to produce parts for any other customer.

Need a signed NDA?

For sensitive projects we are happy to sign a mutual non-disclosure agreement before you upload anything. Two options:

• Use ours: email contact@makenow.cc with subject "NDA request" and we'll send our standard mutual NDA for signature, usually within one business day.
• Use yours: send us your NDA and our team will review and sign it — most standard mutual NDAs are accepted without changes.

Scope of our standard NDA

Our mutual NDA covers: all design files, drawings, specifications and business information exchanged; a confidentiality term of 5 years; permitted use limited strictly to quoting and manufacturing; and return or certified deletion of files on request. It does not cover information that is public, independently developed, or lawfully received from a third party.

ITAR / export-controlled projects

If your project is subject to export control regulations, tell us before uploading so we can route production to an appropriate facility and confirm compliance in writing.
